Dan Taylor

Dan is a leading expert in energy transition with 25+ years in the sector. He co-founded ion Ventures in 2018, delivering clean energy and storage solutions across the UK, Europe, and Asia.

Dan has developed 300MW+ of storage, including Europe’s first Tesla grid-scale system. His expertise spans energy, EVs, smart grids, and cleantech, with a strong focus on driving innovation and commercial success.

Outside of work, Dan serves as a Trustee for HVC UK, a UK-registered charity based in Cambodia focused on providing education and support for vulnerable children in the local community. He is also a keen sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying playing and watching all ball sports.
