Olly Stopford

Olly is a Project Engineer at ion Ventures, supporting the delivery of over 500MW of BESS and solar PV projects across the UK and Ireland. With a background in engineering and project development, he now leads procurement and supply chain integration, acting as a key interface between engineering and legal teams.

He has overseen contracts for 62MW of BESS and managed the procurement process for nearly 200MW of BESS and 20MW of Solar PV, bringing both technical and risk insight as well as commercial acumen to the delivery of renewable energy and energy storage projects.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing sport, cooking and training for the next fitness challenge.
