Sebastiaan Groenhuijsen

As Head of Strategy and New Markets at ion Ventures, Sebastiaan drives international expansion and investor engagement to scale clean energy solutions. With a background in mechanical engineering and previous leadership roles at Hilti across six European markets, he has led strategic product launches and managed multimillion-euro portfolios.

Sebastiaan combines technical insight with commercial leadership to accelerate energy transition efforts globally.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and escaping to the mountains especially to go skiing.
