Unlocking flexibility and stability through advanced
energy storage.
As renewables and energy storage become the backbone of modern power systems, flexibility is essential to balance supply and demand. Without it, grids struggle to adapt to variability, respond to peaks, and integrate new sources of generation at scale.
We see flexibility not just as an outcome, but as something we design into our projects from the start. As an engineering-led developer, we apply deep technical expertise to determine where assets should be located, how they are integrated into the network, and what role they can play in supporting system-wide stability.
Our projects deliver flexibility in many forms, whether enabling a remote island grid to balance renewable generation, supporting an EV charging hub with local storage, or co-locating renewables and storage to ease network congestion. We also bring this approach to innovative applications, such as our work with Zembo in Uganda, where we are helping to integrate flexible energy systems into electric mobility infrastructure.
Through strategic partnerships, we extend this approach across global markets. Our engagement with utilities such as PLN in Indonesia and TNB in Malaysia demonstrates how we bring both innovation and practical delivery to flexibility services, helping accelerate national energy transitions while ensuring reliability and resilience.
We design solutions based on what works best for each site, grid context, and long-term performance goal.
We undertake extensive desktop research to assess grid capacity, land viability, and commercial strategy to determine the optimal configuration and siting for each storage project.
We manage end-to-end grid application and connection processes, including inside knowledge and understanding of DNO technical needs, workings and operation. We secure land rights with landowners and undertake the process of searches, design, local authority application and public consultations.
Our project managers oversee construction and integration, coordinating across EPCs and technology vendors, selecting the most suitable battery chemistries, and suppliers to ensure safe, on-time delivery of each project.
Post-commissioning, we support real-time monitoring, asset management, and performance optimisation – ensuring each system operates efficiently and within agreed parameters, as well as maximising revenue while preserving long-term asset life.
